The biggest problem that I have with my writing is the overall structure of my sentences. I always struggle to write something that would make sense to the reader. I also struggle with how I get my point across. One of the things I noticed that affects my clarity is I forget/ leave out words. When I forget certain words, the whole meaning of my sentence will be wrong. To improve and correct my grammar problems, I need to be in the habit of re-reading my work out loud to hear the mistakes.
Examples:
a.) The sunset orange, pink and yellow.
b.) The sunset was orange, pink and yellow.
a.) Mary Wigman used masks as a decoration, but as a component of expression.
b.) Mary Wigman used masks not as a decoration, but as a component of expression.
