They're, Their and There

A common error that people make is the difference between "They're, Their, and There" because they all sound alike. Here is how to fix it:

They're: means they are.
Examples of correct usage: They're going to miss the movie.
They're not going to win the contest.
Examples of incorrect usage: Did you hear they're music?
Put the cake right they're.

Their: Often means that there is more than one person involved.
Examples of correct usage: Lets go to their house after class.
She always braids their her so nicely.
Examples of incorrect usage: Lets meet their after midnight.
Their lies the longest snake in the world.

There: References to a place.
Examples of correct usage: There are too many people in this elevator.
Ill see you there after the play.
Examples of incorrect usage: There meeting us for dinner on Tuesday.
Lets see there new movie, it comes out Friday.
