grammar

I think probably my biggest fault in grammar is in text citations. I get really confused about what to put in my papers because there are so many ways to do an in text citation and sometimes different teachers have different preferences as to what they want you to do. There are specific rules for how to site a quotation, or even paraphrasing. Here are some ideas to help problems with in text citation:

Single Author
“she believed that her theory reflected the pull within all of us as human beings--between our need for security and our urge to risk the unknown.” (Jowitt 151)

Corporate Author
“she believed that her theory reflected the pull within all of us as human beings--between our need for security and our urge to risk the unknown.” (Nat Archive Publishing 151)

Works with no Author
“she believed that her theory reflected the pull within all of us as human beings--between our need for security and our urge to risk the unknown.”("Time and the Dancing Image"
151)

In most other cases just page numbers are sufficient.
