The piece of art I think that everybody should look up and listen to is redemption song by Bob Marley (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OFGgbT_Vasl). Just listening to this song brings back so many happy memories for me. I can remember me and my dad singing this song together when I was only a girl. I had to be no older than five years old but then it was just something that I did with my father but now that I am a woman I realize the meaning of this song and the impact this song had on the world. Some of these lyrics in the some derived from a speech given by the orator Marcus Garvey. He really painted a picture with his choice of words and the dynamics in this song are incredible. It’s so smooth but it still has a passion and purpose behind it and when he really wants you to listen to what he is saying he makes it really clear. The part of this song that strikes me the most is:
