I Believe in Traveling

I believe in traveling the world and exploring what it has to offer. I myself have traveled to three different countries and each one was like going to a different world. In order to travel, it’s a must to always fly business and avoid economy at all cost. When traveling to a different country, you go with a hungry and empty stomach. You must never be too full to stop for gelato at every corner in Italy. You must always go with a camera armed with plenty of memory cards to document every moment. I believe that in traveling the world you learn what makes up our history. You learn the cultures that influence us and that we (America) influence. In Thailand, they might not like the U.S. Government, but they worship American people. Especially, cultural icons like Britney Spears, who some children claimed I was. Meanwhile in Italy, if you’re American, you go to the back of the line and expect to wait a long time to be served! When you travel abroad, you learn how to communicate with the world. There is nothing better (or funnier) than to sit and wait for your mom while she speaks Spanish to an Italian throughout the whole trip. With many places and many faces, you learn where you fit in. You gain insight to why you’re here and how you can make a difference. I believe from traveling you learn how that we all can take care of one another. That no matter how rich or poor, we are created equally and beautifully.
